Mary Dail
Mary founded Big Leo Productions in 2003.
After graduating from UNC Chapel Hill, where she studied chemistry, theatre and Spanish literature, Mary Dail moved to New York in August of 1995 to pursue a career in acting and set design. Several creative, managerial, and environmental careers later, she landed at Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia where she became the photography editor, collaborating with some of the best art directors, photographers, stylists, and designers in the business. Switching from art buying to representation has only strengthened her goal to maintain loyal and longstanding artist-client relationships.
For nearly 10 years, Mary has co-sponsored the Big Leo Bash – an annual celebration of the diverse backgrounds and talents reflected in the creative industries of photography, styling, design and web, as well as music and dance. It was this collection of artistry – and her zodiac sign – that inspired the name of the agency.
The North Carolinian accent may be gone, but the Southern charm remains.
