Mary Dail
Mary is The Big Leo.
After graduating from UNC Chapel Hill, Mary moved to New York in August of 1995 to pursue a career in acting and set design. Several creative, managerial, and environmental careers later, she landed at Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia where she became the photography editor, collaborating with some of the best art directors, photographers, stylists, and designers in the business. Switching from art buying to representation has only strengthened her mission to foster and maintain loyal longstanding artist-client relationships.
For over 10 years, Mary has co-sponsored The Big Leo Bash – an annual celebration of the diverse backgrounds and talents reflected in all creative industries. It was this collection of artistry – and her zodiac sign – that inspired the name of the agency.
The Den, this here little nifty blog, is where she and the Big Leo team pay homage to the extraordinary talents of the artists who were brought together with the distinct vision of creating a FAMILY.
Raised on the coast of North Carolina, she is crazy about the ocean, especially its glorious sharks, cares deeply for environmental issues, human justice and animal rights – starting with her very own pitbull, Riley – and is totally and completely NF*A.
