Andrew Purcell

Andrew Purcell is an up and coming young photographer who channels his love of light into an ethereal style, picked up in part from his years assisting Victoria Pearson, Luca Travato, Coral Von Zumwalt, and Mikkel Vang.

After growing up in sunny Laguna Beach and spending time in Santa Barbara, he graduated from the Brooks Institute of Photography and started assisting. He recently retired his flip-flops and relocated to New York City – lucky us!

With a passion for travel, food, and fun, he finds beauty in light and simplicity – things like a glass of wine, an empty plate, or the most traditional recipes. And, did we mention antique cameras, a great cup of coffee, the beach, anything that includes bacon?

Andrew lives in the city with his wife, the food stylist Carrie Purcell, and is thankful for being able to take pictures for a living.

He is a Virgo/Libra cusp.
