Who Inspires You: David A. Land

We often wonder where our Big Leo artists draw their inspiration from. What drives their aesthetic and style, and who or what do they look to when they need a jolt of genius? We recently asked David Land about who influences his photography and video, and he spoke of American photographer Duane Michals. David said of Michal's work,

"I’ve always loved his work; from way back when I started studying photography. The way he tells stories with his images has been a huge inspiration to me. He has a way of telling stories that feel almost cinematic to me. I think part of the reason I have really embraced shooting video is that desire to tell a more complete story than you can with one single frame."
