Spring Dessert
Just in time for Spring! Prop stylist Ed Gallagher and food stylist Emma Feigenbaum recently teamed up to work on this beautiful dessert project, photographed by Shell Bilyew. The concept for the project was to create an aesthetic that mixed both modern and vintage style, while using a pastel color palette for spring. Both stylists agreed that it would be refreshing to use a range of colors that was slightly outside the color palette of a standard editorial shoot. And the result is a series of images that are fun, bright, and feminine. For the shoot, Emma and Ed brought in the color using both the food and props. The pastries are decorated with frosted pinks and light blues, complementing the bright hues of the old fashioned plates and flatware. Go team Big Leo!
