From Bland to Grand

If you picked up the January issue of House Beautiful, you might have seen this colorful story featuring designer Sam Allen, photographed by David Land. Sam designed and decorated his first Connecticut based apartment, and the results are bright, inviting, and lush. David says of Sam and the shoot,

"One of the things I love about working with young designers is that they’re not afraid to try something new. Sam Allen is a young (very young!) designer who knows the rules, but loves to take risks. House Beautiful sent me to Connecticut to photograph Allen’s very first apartmentwhich was full of bold colors and big patterns. I can’t wait to see more from this."
