James Beard on Your Smart Phone

We're always looking to cook restaurant-worthy meals at home, because let's face it, boring salads are - well - boring! Thankfully, The James Beard Foundation has come to our rescue by introducing a pretty amazing new app for smart phones. James Beard Foundation Vegetables: Recipes by Award-Winning Chefs (JBF Vegetables for short) provides us culinary novices with an array of interactive tools (including step by step videos - wow!) to help cook up a delicious meal, created by award winning chefs. Some of the chefs include Daniel Boulud, Mario Batali, and Jean-Georges Vongerichten. We're also interested in exploring how this app came to be. And one huge contributor is Big Leo food stylist Mariana Velasquez, who styled all the food for the photos and videos featured on the app. Mariana did a beautiful job helping to make the app come to life, and helping us in the kitchen!
